Classic Car House is included on the Discover card, not Hop. It is in Lyngby, about 25 minutes out, and holds more than 300 classic cars.
The Discover card covers the museum and the train out. It publishes no adult admission price, and the best thing here in summer costs nothing to anybody.
Twenty-five thousand square metres of classic cars in Lyngby, and a working business built around them. Allow two to three hours.
The Racing Legends section is where the collection stops being a car park and starts being a museum: the Porsche 935 Moby Dick, a 964 3.8 RS, a 550 Spyder and a 1963 Elva MH 7 S. Even without knowing the names, the shapes explain themselves.
The interactive exhibition has visitors design a car and test how air moves over it. It is aimed at children and works on adults, which is a fair description of the whole place — and the Car Hunt trail keeps younger ones moving between the exhibits.
Museum, restaurant, car hotel, dealership, workshop and event spaces on one site. That means the cars are being worked on rather than only displayed, and there is usually something happening in the yard.
One free thing worth planning around, and two the sources do not settle. Confirmed against classiccarhouse.dk.
Lyngby is about 25 minutes north of Copenhagen by train. The journey is on the Discover card, and only on that one.
All three are included on the same card, so the only cost of adding them is the time. For the full list, see every attraction the Copenhagen Card covers.
Historic Danish farms and houses moved onto open ground at Frilandsmuseet, part of the National Museum.
French and Danish painting in a country house with a Zaha Hadid extension, and an art park in the grounds.
Hands-on science over several floors at Hellerup, and the second most expensive attraction on the card without one.
The Discover card includes the museum and the train out to Lyngby, along with 80+ more attractions and unlimited public transport across the Capital Region.
The Copenhagen Card Discover covers museum entry, the Racing Legends section, the interactive exhibition and the Car Hunt trail, plus the train to Lyngby. The venue does not publish an adult admission price, so this page states no figure. The Hop card covers none of it.
The Monday rule is not published anywhere we can check, so this page does not claim it either way. Check classiccarhouse.dk before travelling — Lyngby is about 25 minutes out. The day worth targeting in summer is Thursday, when the free evening meet-ups run.
Nothing needs booking. Show the QR code in the Copenhagen Card app at the desk and walk in. The Thursday evening meet-ups in the park need no booking either, and are open to everyone whether or not they hold a card.
One scan per attraction applies, so this is a single visit per card. The free Thursday meet-ups are outside that entirely — they cost nothing and need no scan, so going to one does not use up your visit.
Show the live QR code in the Copenhagen Card app at the entrance and let staff scan it. Your booking confirmation email is not your card, and a screenshot of the QR code will not scan — it has to be the app itself, which works offline once activated.
