We earn a commission when you buy a Copenhagen Card through a link on this site. You pay the same either way. Here is the whole arrangement, plainly.
Some links on this site are affiliate links. If you click one and buy a card, the seller pays us a percentage of the sale. Your price does not change. The commission comes out of the seller's margin, not out of your pocket, and there is no version of the card that is cheaper if you avoid our links.
We are an authorised affiliate partner of the two booking platforms that sell the Copenhagen Card. The booking widgets on our buy page are theirs, and purchases made through them are attributed to us.
We are not paid by Wonderful Copenhagen, who issue the card, and we have no commercial relationship with any of the attractions the card covers. No museum, castle or tour operator pays to appear on this site or to be described favourably.
Being paid on purchase is a real conflict of interest, and saying "but we're honest" does not remove it. What we can offer instead is a way to check us:
The worth-it calculator works from the actual admission price of each attraction you tick. If the attractions you plan to visit come to less than the card costs, it says so, and it says how much you would lose. It is not weighted, and it does not hide the negative case. Run your real itinerary through it — not the default one — and the arithmetic is there to check against the venues' own prices.
Several pages on this site advise against buying. The card is a poor deal for a one-day visit built around a single attraction, for anyone who mainly wants Tivoli's rides (which it does not cover), and for travellers who would rather move slowly than pack a schedule. We would rather say that than sell a card someone regrets.
Which attractions are listed, the admission prices we quote, the break-even figures, or the order things appear in. Attraction prices come from the venues' own websites; card prices come from the seller's listing. Neither is adjusted for our benefit.
