The GoBoat harbour tour is included on the Discover card, not Hop. It is the shared guided tour from Islands Brygge, not boat rental, and runs about an hour.
Read this part carefully. GoBoat sells two different things under one name, the card covers one of them, and the one it does not cover is the one search results show you.
An hour on the water in a small electric boat, guided, from Islands Brygge. Quiet enough to hear the guide, which is the point of it.
The boats run on electric motors, so there is no engine noise to talk over. On a guided tour that matters more than it sounds — it is the difference between a commentary you can follow and one you catch half of.
A maximum of nine guests share the boat with the captain. It is a different experience from the large canal-tour boats: closer to the water, closer to the guide, and you can ask questions and get an answer.
It leaves from Islands Brygge on the harbour itself, which is a different view of the city from the Slotsholmen canal circuit. The two are worth doing as a pair rather than as alternatives.
The name collision is the thing to get right here, and it is the reason this page exists. Product details confirmed against goboat.dk.
Islands Brygge, on the harbour opposite Slotsholmen. Five minutes from the metro, and only the Discover card covers either the tour or the journey.
All three are included on the same card, so the only cost of adding them is the time. For the full list, see every attraction the Copenhagen Card covers.
The Royal Danish Library on the waterfront. The building is free to enter; the exhibitions are what the card covers.
The state rooms still used by the Royal Family, with the Great Hall tapestries, on Slotsholmen.
The corkscrew spire over Christianshavn, with 400 steps up to an external staircase and the best view in the city.
The shared guided harbour tour is included on the Copenhagen Card Discover, along with 80+ more attractions and unlimited public transport across the Capital Region. Book the tour by name — boat rental is a different product and is not covered.
The Discover card covers the shared guided harbour tour from Islands Brygge — up to nine guests, a captain guiding in English, about an hour. GoBoat boat rental is a separate product and is not covered by either card. The Hop card does not include the tour either.
The harbour tour has no Monday closure. What limits it is the season rather than the day: the operator runs it with an emphasis on spring and summer, so check departures before building a plan around it out of season.
Have the card scanned at check-in, or pre-book a same-day ticket if you would rather secure a place. Nothing needs booking further ahead than that, and there is nothing to pay at the dock.
One scan per attraction applies, so the card covers a single tour. The boats seat up to nine and sailings do fill in summer, which is the argument for a same-day booking rather than turning up.
Show the live QR code in the Copenhagen Card app at the entrance and let staff scan it. Your booking confirmation email is not your card, and a screenshot of the QR code will not scan — it has to be the app itself, which works offline once activated.
