Treasure Hunts are included on both cards. Collect the pack at Copenhagen Visitor Service and follow a self-guided trail from Tivoli to Nyhavn, with no smartphone needed.
Both cards cover it. This is not a building you enter, so what the card covers is the pack itself — and there is no published price for that anywhere.
You collect a paper pack, you walk, you work it out. The issuer describes it as sightseeing, history and puzzles with the feel of an outdoor escape room.
The route runs from Tivoli through the centre and down to Nyhavn, which is a walk plenty of visitors do anyway on their first afternoon. The hunt gives that walk a reason to stop and look at things, which is the difference between covering ground and seeing a city.
It is paper, on purpose. No app to download, no signal to lose, no battery to run out halfway down Strøget. For a family or a group that is more of a feature than it sounds — everyone is looking at the same sheet rather than four separate screens.
The issuer’s own comparison is an escape room turned inside out, and it is a fair one: history and sightseeing wrapped around problems you have to solve to move on. It is aimed at adults and teenagers rather than small children.
This is an activity rather than a place, which changes several of the usual questions. Confirmed against copenhagencard.com.
Collect the pack at Copenhagen Visitor Service, Vesterbrogade 4B, beside Tivoli and a couple of minutes from Copenhagen Central.
All three are included on the same card, so the only cost of adding them is the time. For the full list, see every attraction the Copenhagen Card covers.
The 1843 pleasure gardens across the road from the collection point — gardens, buildings and the wooden rollercoaster.
Denmark's national collection — the Bronze Age Sun Chariot, the bog finds and the Viking rooms — with a Children's Museum in the same ticket.
Roman and Egyptian sculpture and French painting around a glass-roofed winter garden.
Both cards include the pack, along with 80+ more attractions and unlimited public transport across the Capital Region on Discover.
Both cards cover the treasure hunt pack, collected at Copenhagen Visitor Service on Vesterbrogade 4B. No price is published for it anywhere, so this page states no figure. Entry to the venues the route passes is not part of it — each is its own attraction and its own scan.
Any day works. This is a self-guided walk rather than a venue, so there are no opening hours and no Monday closure to plan around — the only timing worth thinking about is daylight, since you are reading a paper pack outdoors for a couple of hours.
Nothing needs booking. Collect the pack at Copenhagen Visitor Service, Vesterbrogade 4B, and start whenever suits you. There is no slot to reserve and no guide to meet — the whole format is turn up, take the pack and go.
One scan per attraction applies, so the card collects one pack. The route itself is public street, so nothing stops you walking it again — but a second pack would have to be paid for, and the puzzles only surprise you once anyway.
Show the live QR code in the Copenhagen Card app at Copenhagen Visitor Service and they hand over the pack. There is no door to scan at after that. A screenshot will not work — it has to be the app, which runs offline once activated.
